Zack Snyder's Justice League is the long-awaited extended version of the 2017 DC superhero film, which Warner Bros. released on their streaming service HBO MAX on March 18th, 2021, after almost four years of fan lobbying on social media. Original director Zack Snyder restores his original vision for the feature over the changes made by replacement director Joss Whedon which radically alters the tone by, among other things, omitting much of Whedon's humor. Added cast members include Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Harry Lennix as J'onn J'onzz / Martian Manhunter, Jared Leto as the Joker, and Ray Porter as Darkseid.
