The Taking 123 of Pelham 123 (2009)

The Taking of Pelham 123 is the 2009 remake of the 1974 thriller The Taking of Pelham One Two Three. The film was directed by Tony Scott and stars Denzel Washington, James Gandolfini, and John Travolta.

Dennis "Ryder" Ford (John Travolta) carries a two-tone SIG-Sauer P229R as his primary weapon.

Walther PPK/S

A Walther PPK/S is put in one of the money bags, where it mysteriously turns into a Kahr K9. Another error is that the NYPD officer showing Walter Garber how to use the PPK/S indicates that the safety was on when it was really off, and vice-versa.

SIG-Sauer P220

A SIG-Sauer P220 is used by Bashkim (Victor Gojcaj), one of the hijackers. In several scenes, it is possible to see that his SIG has the narrower frame of the P220.

Bashkim is taken out by NYPD officers while firing his SIG. Here the SIG's slide is clearly locked open, but muzzle flashes continue to be seen coming out of the gun.

Glock 19

NYPD officers in the subway tunnels and above ground are armed with Glock 19 pistols.

NYPD officers fire their Glocks when Ryder's accomplices pull their handguns. The officer in the middle is seen firing even though his gun has jammed.

Kahr K9

The Walther PPK/S that was hidden for Walter Garber (Denzel Washington) magically transforms into a stainless steel Kahr K9 when he confronts Ryder (John Travolta). Garber is shown flipping the safety "off", a feature the Kahr K9 does not have (Washington actually hits the slide stop as a stand in for the safety lever).

Intratec TEC-9

Delgado (Ramón Rodríguez), one of the hijackers, carries a Intratec TEC-9 submachine gun.
