Hostage is a 2005 action thriller film starring Bruce Willis as Jeff Talley, a former Los Angeles SWAT officer and hostage negotiator who moves to a quiet California town after failing in a hostage negotiation. The quiet town's peace is shattered when a criminal's home is taken hostage, which results in Talley's own family being taken hostage. Talley is forced to once again act as a hostage negotiator to save his family. The film, which was directed by Florent Siri (Intimate Enemies), features remarkably accurate gun choices and handling.

The following weapons were used in the film Hostage:

Handguns

Kimber Custom TLE II

Chief Jeff Talley (Bruce Willis) keeps a Kimber Custom TLE II .45 caliber handgun as his personal sidearm. He is seen with it tucked as a belly gun in the opening standoff and uses it to save his family at the end of the film. Clear shots can be seen showing Kimber's engraving on the gun. On the other side, a clear shot can be seen reading "LAPD SWAT CUSTOM", which makes sense as LAPD SWAT teams use Kimber Custom IIs, and Talley was a veteran of the LAPD SWAT.

Talley fires his Kimber Custom II during the final shootout. Talley fires 10 shots here rather than the correct 8 or 9.
A close-up of Talley firing his Kimber repeatedly for good measure. The pistol is clearly live-firing in this shot. Note again, "LAPD SWAT CUSTOM" is visible on the slide. That careful attention to detail is incredible and rarely seen in Hollywood productions!

Glock 26

A Glock 26 is used by Chief Jeff Talley (Bruce Willis) as his backup weapon. He keeps a rubber band tightly wrapped around the grip for a better grip on the gun. The gun is classified as a Glock 26 based on its 10+1 capacity accurately depicted. The Glock 26 is also seen in the hands of Walter Smith (Kevin Pollak).

Talley checks the chamber of his Glock 26.
Talley fires his Glock 26 at the lead FBI team member, who was set aflame by Mars' molotov.
The slide locks empty on Talley's Glock 26 after 11 shots. This is correct for a Glock 26, which has a magazine capacity of 10 rounds. Talley must have had one in the chamber for the correct 11.

Glock 21

Glock 21s are carried by Bristo Camino Police Department officers, including Jeff Talley (Bruce Willis) when in uniform. Talley is shown carrying it until it is taken from his holster by The Watchman's men. Talley also is shown handling a hidden Glock 21 in the ambulance, but it is unclear if the Watchmen left Talley's Glock in the car, or if the Glock was his deputy's. We know that the pistol Talley has stashed in the ambulance is not his Glock 26, because it has an accessory rail. Therefore, it must be one of the Department Glock 21s.

The wounded officer's limp arm holds her Glock 21 barely. Both the "21" stamp and the ".45 caliber" stamp are clearly visible on the slide.
