John Wick is a 2014 action thriller starring Keanu Reeves as the title character, a retired hitman who seeks vengeance against a mobster's son and his cronies for stealing his car and killing his puppy, a final gift from his recently deceased wife. The film was directed by Chad Stahelski and David Leitch (both were veteran stunt and action coordinators in the film business prior to their feature film directing debut here, although Leitch is uncredited). Reeves would return for several sequels: 2017's John Wick: Chapter 2, 2019's John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, and 2023's John Wick: Chapter 4. The Continental: From the World of John Wick, a prequel series, premiered on the streaming service Peacock in September of 2023.
The following weapons were used in the film John Wick:
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Handguns
Heckler & Koch P30L
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) uses a Heckler & Koch P30L fitted with a custom compensator as his primary firearm through the film. He swaps it for a Glock 26 during the Red Circle Club shootout when the P30L runs out of ammunition. After escaping captivity, he most likely uses a second pistol or returns the first one, but later drops it anyway at the port before a hand-to-hand fight with Viggo in the film's climax. As it turns out in John Wick: Chapter 2, Wick returns both guns at the end of the movie.
Glock 26
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) also uses a Glock 26 compact pistol, notably during the Red Circle night club shootout as his backup gun, shooting several guards in the bathhouse.
Browning Hi-Power
Marcus (Willem Dafoe) carries a Browning Hi-Power as his preferred sidearm but never uses it. One of Tarasov's henchmen disarms Marcus near the end of the film.
Walther P99
Ms. Perkins (Adrianne Palicki) uses a Walther P99 with a silencer throughout the film. John (Keanu Reeves) also briefly holds the gun during the confrontation.
Salient Arms International Glock 17
The high rank members of Tarasov Mob, namely their leader Viggo Tarasov (Michael Nyqvist), his son Iosef Tarasov (Alfie Allen), and head of security Kirill (Daniel Bernhardt), are armed with Salient Arms International Glock 17 Tier 1 pistols throughout the film. During the final confrontation, Viggo gives his SAI Glock to his counselor Avi (Dean Winters) to use against Wick.
Glock 17
Assassins sent to John Wick's house are armed with Glock 17 pistols with fitted with tactical flashlights and suppressors. Iosef's security detail at the Red Circle Club is armed with Glock 17 pistols during the shootout with John. Two more henchmen guarding Viggo's vault at the church are armed with pistols. The Continental guards are armed with suppressed pistols during the meeting between Ms. Perkins (Adrianne Palicki) and Winston (Ian McShane).
Glock 17 (FAB Defense KPOS G1)
Several of Viggo Tarasov's henchmen use full-auto Glock 17s fitted with a FAB Defense KPOS G1 carbine conversion kit, FAB Defense FGGK-S folding grip and extended magazine.
Glock 19
Several of Viggo Tarasov's henchmen are armed with the more compact Glock 19 pistols in the second half of the film. Marcus (Willem Dafoe) snatches the gun from one of them and shoots several times.
Beretta 92FS
Tarasov's henchman named Gregori (Omer Barnea) pulls a Beretta 92FS when Aurelio (John Leguizamo) punches Iosef.
Colt Python
Harry (Clarke Peters), a guest at the Continental Hotel, holds a Colt Python while taking to John. Ms. Perkins (Adrianne Palicki) grabs his revolver at Harry's room.
Submachine Guns
Coharie Arms MP-10
One of Tarasov's henchmen uses a Coharie Arms MP-10. Like the Coharie Arms CA-415 used by Wick, the MP-10 is an American-made clone of another popular Heckler & Koch weapon, the MP5.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
At least two members of Tarasov's mob are armed with Heckler & Koch MP5Ks, guarding Iosef's safe house. Another henchman uses the MP5K without a forearm during an encounter with Wick at the docks in the final film.
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
Several Tarasov's henchmen also armed with Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDWs during the shootout in the parking lot and at the docks.
Shotguns
Kel-Tec KSG
A couple of Viggo's men are armed with Kel-Tec KSG shotguns fitted with an EOTech XPS2 sights in the film. John Wick (Keanu Reeves) later commandeers one for himself.
Sawed-off Double Barrel Shotgun
One of Viggo's henchmen tries to pull a Sawed-off Double Barrel Shotgun on Wick at the church.
Rifles
Coharie Arms CA-415
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) uses a Coharie Arms CA-415 with a shortened barrel, EOTech 553 holographic sight, vertical grip and Magpul PMAG as his primary weapon during the attack on Viggo's church and the following shootout in the parking lot. The CA-415 is an American-made clone of the Heckler & Koch HK416.
Ruger M77
Marcus (Willem Dafoe) uses a take-down model Ruger M77 fitted with a synthetic "Zytel" stock, suppressor, and bipod after the John Wick contract is announced, saving the former partner several times.
DTA Stealth Recon Scout
A sniper guarding Iosef Tarasov's safe house uses a Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout sniper rifle. However, John Wick (Keanu Reeves) stealthily eliminates him and uses a rifle during the attack.
Savage 10 BA
Another Tarasov's sniper at the safe house uses a Savage 10 BA rifle.
DPMS Recon
A sniper patrolling the roof is seen carrying what appears to be a scoped DPMS Recon at the safe house of Iosef Tarasov (Alfie Allen).
Other
Incendiary Grenades
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) burns down Viggo's vault with two black incendiary grenades (possibly AN/M14) from his underground arsenal.
The Wick Arsenal
John Wick has a hidden underground arsenal in his basement, which he begins using after Iosef, Gregori and Victor attack at night. The first box contains two Heckler & Koch P30L pistols, two Glock 26 pistols, four incendiary grenades, a KA-BAR serrated Tanto, and a Microtech UTX-70, and the second box contains at least one Coharie Arms CA-415.
Marcus' Gun Closet
Marcus (Willem Dafoe) has a small arsenal under the stairs at his house. He takes his Browning and Ruger out of a gun closet when Viggo puts out a contract for Wick's head.
